How the free scan works. Step 1: you type your website address; nothing is installed and no signup is needed, and only publicly available information is read. Step 2: seven checks run in parallel: SSL certificate validity, HTTPS redirect, security headers (HSTS, X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options), Google Safe Browsing, exposed files such as .env, .git and backups, malware injection in page scripts, and breach exposure via Have I Been Pwned. Each check scores one point for a pass and half a point when it cannot be determined. Step 3: you get a security score out of 100 in seconds, plain-language findings that say what each result means and what to fix first, and an optional emailed report; your address and results are not stored.
